Batti Gul Meter Chalu is the narrative of the battles of the regular man with respect to the conflicting electric supply. Sushil Kumar Pant otherwise known as SK (Shahid Kapoor), Lalita Nautiyal otherwise known as Nauti (Shraddha Kapoor) and Sundar Mohan Tripathi (Divyenndu) are thick companions. Every one of the three are situated in Tehri in Uttarakhand. While SK is a legal counselor who likes to gain a brisk buck by extorting individuals and arm-curving them, Nauti runs a boutique shop and dreams of turning into a best fashioner.
