The film opens in the year 1995 where illicit arms were dropped from a flying machine in the Purulia region of West Bengal. In show times, Shruti Sengupta (Katrina Kaif) is seen acquainting kids with the universe of Jagga Jasoos through his comic books.

Through Shruti’s portrayal, we get a look into his youth. Jagga’s dad, Tutti Futti (Saswata Chatterjee) is really his temporary parent. The young man had once spared this present man’s life after he tumbled from a prepare. From that point forward, the pair shared an inspiring bond. In any case, their satisfaction is fleeting when all of a sudden, Tutti Futti concedes Jagga in a live-in school however stays away forever to take him back. In any case, he makes a point to send VHS tapes containing birthday wishes to Jagga consistently.

Days go into months and months into years. In his developing years, Jagga builds up an affinity for fathoming secrets and even winds up tackling a case or two. Until one fine day, news arrives that Jagga’s dad is no more. In any case, the youthful “jasoos” soon makes sense of that there’s something else entirely to this than meets the eye. What takes after next is Jagga setting out on a courageous trip to find his missing father who really had a mystery character!

Jagga Jasoos is Ranbir Kapoor’s show all through. He conveys the heaviness of the film on his tough shoulders easily and certainty. Once more, he abandons you awestruck with his acting ability! Is there anything which this performing artist can’t do?

Katrina Kaif plays more like a moment fiddle to Ranbir. Her character in the film is tormented by misfortune who discovers one way or the other to welcome inconvenience. In any case, after a point, her awkwardness doesn’t conjure much chuckle from the gathering of people.

Sashwat Chatterjee gets the opportunity to assume a substantial part and it’s a treat to watch him on-screen. Sayani Gupta experiences a squandered part that doesn’t add much to Jagga-Shruti’s enterprise. Saurabh Shukla sets up a decent show.

The scenes between youthful Jagga and Chatterjee will make you shed a tear or two.

Jagga Jasoos is an excursion to the fantasyland however sadly, a rough one with Ranbir Kapoor sparing the day for us! This one misses the mark regarding being ‘Tukka Laga Nishaane Pe’!
