The film opens with a scene of man and a lady dozing on a bed, quieted by hints of the ocean which lies simply ahead. Hardly any minutes after the fact, we enter the stormy universe of Kabir Singh (Shahid Kapoor). He is a brillant therapeutic specialist and a football champ. Yet, he’s profoundly dangerous and experiences anger issues.

Kabir turns into a ‘rebel with a reason’ when his eyes fall on his school junior Preeti (Kiara Advani). The resigned young lady before long responds his sentiments. Be that as it may, when he loses her attributable to a break in their relationship, he sinks himself in a tidal wave of self centeredness and decimation. Over an insane ride of alcohol, medications and feeling less sex, Kabir attempts to get over this agonizing ‘stage’ of his life. Kabir Singh is a Hindi change of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s very own Telugu work ‘Arjun Reddy’ which featured a splendid Vijay Deverakonda and an enchanting Shalini Pandey. While this Shahid Kapoor starrer is very nearly a casing to-outline duplicate of the first flick, the movie producer remains consistent with his execution and adjusts it successfully for the Hindi standard sense of taste.

Kabir Singh is imperfect from multiple points of view. He’s an out and out heavy drinker, a womanizer and an over the top darling who puts stock in owning his sweetheart. Having said that, it’s critical to comprehend a film’s language and look as for the setting of its story before pointing a finger at issues like harmful manliness, misogyny in it.

Kabir Singh significantly has a place with Shahid Kapoor. Be it adore, outrage, enthusiasm, fixation or being offensive to individuals around him, the on-screen character dunks himself somewhere down in each feeling to its extraordinary to make his character all the more genuine. Notwithstanding Kabir’s faulty character, you pull for him to develop successful in his romantic tale and a noteworthy credit to it goes to Shahid’s first class act alongside Sandeep’s composition.

Kiara Advani pulls off a fair execution, however you miss Shalini Pandey’s honesty here!

For the individuals who have viewed Arjun Reddy, Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh may not totally tear your heart out. Yet, it will leave you with a sorrow. It will make you need to accept that ‘genuine affection overcomes all obstructions and resists all tempests’.
