Things turn out badly when one night, Vidya Chauhan (Raveena Tandon) and her little girl Tia (Alisha Khan) are returning home from the last’s school yearly day work. To keep away from the insane automobile overload, Vidya goes off the course yet winds up getting snatched by a pack of lousy folks. Before long the mother-little girl pair wind up awakening on the floor of a left farmhouse just to be gangraped by their abductors. Tia capitulates to the manhandle however Vidya survives the appalling demonstration. She remembers one of her transgressors as Apurva Malik (Madhur Mittal) who happens to be the child of a big cheese government official.

With a disintegrating marriage and an insenstive spouse who considers her in charge of the disaster which came about because of a ‘wrong turn’, her sole emotionally supportive network is her dear companion Ritu (Divya Jagdale). At long last on being flopped by the law, Vidya chooses to retaliate for her misfortune and goes on a requital slaughtering binge. Will equity be at long last be conveyed to a lamenting mother?

Raveena Tandon makes a crushing rebound as an assault casualty and a lamenting mother never going to budge on looking for requital. Appropriate from torment, tension, disinclined to distress, the on-screen character shows her acting ability by getting these feelings evoked in you. She is in a top shape and even her quiet talks volume.

Madhur Mittal known for movies like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and ‘Million Dollar Arm’ packs in the right measure of evilness in this retribution adventure. You wind up detesting his character Apoorva appropriate from the principal outline.

Whatever is left of the cast involving Alisha Khan, Divya Jagdale, Rushaad Rana and Anurag Arora loan great support.

Maatr is watchable exclusively for Raveena Tandon’s sparkling execution as a wronged lady who wouldn’t fret recoloring her hands with the blood of her culprits who perpetrated her with an existence scarring episode. It scores high on goal however sadly misses the mark concerning being a hard-hitting film.
